Jarcha is a third-generation family business that, coming from Navarra, settled in Extremadura more than 40 years ago. In Jarcha we were pioneers in the cultivation and production of asparagus in Extremadura. Fresh asparagus (white and green) was exported to all of Europe under the Señor Baztán brand, and we also manufacture canned asparagus, piquillo peppers and peach under the Jarcha brand in Talayuela, Cáceres.
At the end of the century, we began to plant the first cherry trees in the north of Cáceres and developed the first nectarine and peach plantations in Badajoz to be sold fresh. From then on, we gradually stopped producing asparagus, we raised the last plantation in 2005, and we gradually abandoned the canning activity to become a fruit growing group.
Our strategy is based on a policy of permanent innovation in products based on our raw materials and in the processes dedicated to the improvement of the facilities. as well as in a quality cultivation focused on food safety and the dialogue and satisfaction of our customers.
We carry out sustainable development through our team of:
